Impressions of handicrafts and pets at Satok Market

if you see dogs or cats locked inside cages in Asian market, they are either meant for food or as  pet.

Luckily this cat is born in Kuching, the “cat city”, so it won’t end up on dining table. The following animal might not be as lucky.

Some are temporary lucky but may still end up on dining table.

Satok Market has pets section as well as handicraft section for handmade goods or animal parts.

Most of the handicrafts were made from rottan, woods, animal bones, corals, seashells etc.

The price on average is much cheaper than the tourist souvenir stores.
