Putrajaya Floria 2012 (part 2)
Although the theme flower is Bougainvillea, orchid can be seen everywhere (as usual).
On the other hand, cactus is not a popular plant on display.
As a prominent flora show in the country, many government agencies and organizations put up their respective flora landscaping.
There are few competitions and indoor exhibition (good places to be away from the heat).
Where there is flowers, insects follow.
Some times more dangerous reptiles are joining the party.
Indoor galleries are cooling but the dim light may not be good for photography.
It is understood that strong lights generate too much heat that would dry out the flora. Anyway, some plants already dried out even on the first morning (9 more days to go).
Even the durian on display already opened ‘mouth’, and the langsat fruit may not able to last for another day.
Orchid may be one of the longer lasting flower suitable for exhibit.
And this bonsai may last for another 50 years.
Admission to the event is free (except for the games or rabbit garden).
