Travelogue

Present Moment

“Breathing in, I calm body and mind. Breathing out, I smile. Dwelling in the present moment I know this is the only moment.” – Thich Nhat Hanh, Vietnamese Buddhist Monk and author.

“With each breath I come home to the present moment.”

So, breath in. Hold your breath. Take a snapshot. Smile Breath out and smile. You have captured the present moment. Mindfulness is central theme of this travelogue. To close off with the definition by Thich Nhat Hanh: “Mindfulness is the capacity to be aware of what is going on, and what is there. The object of your mindfulness can be anything.”.
