If you have RM9 and 1.5 hours to spend, you can either go for movie or park in KL. On 5 March 2011, I decided to go for the butterfly farm inside Lake Garden, Kuala Lumpur. It has been N years that I have not enter this place.
The park no prohibits tripod, and charge RM1 for camera and more for video camera. I was a bit dissapointed by the condition of the farm/park. It used to have more butterflies, and the place look run down. Hope the management get some funding to keep it in better shape to showcase more attractive bugs and butterflies to the visitors.
So I took more pictures of other insects than butterflies.
and flowers …
Well, I have to take some pictures of butterfly since I am there. This curious butterfly try to lick my camera lens, so I take it as welcome gesture.
This hairy moth is very close to me too.
Next trip is to check out the butterfly farm in Cameron Highlands and Melaka, see how well they maintain them since my last visit.
