Travelogue

People at Hanoi (Part 2)

It was our lucky day when visiting the Temple of Literature at Hanoi.

Christine and I met many young people (mostly ladies) dressing in traditional Vietnamese costume. It was heavenly opportunity for photography because it was rare to see any normal folks on the street wearing traditional costume.

The ladies were friendly and allowed their picture to be taken.

We later found out that it was their graduation and they are visiting the Temple of Literature as this was the first ancient university (based on Confucius’ teaching).

Good luck to their male classmate who acted as photographer.

If the courting is successful, they will be taking wedding photograph soon at Hoan Kiem Lake.

We saw few groups of outdoor wedding photography just nearby the lake and in front of the Opera House.

No wonder the population in vietnam is high (by the number of motorbikes on the road) 🙂

It was interesting to observe the fashion and style.

As a tourist, I acted as if I am taking picture of the building and took a the few quick shots. They have my blessing  and good luck to the groom-to-be for wearing the thick coat under the hot sun.
