Searching for Dragon in Sepang

Rumour has it the one can see dragon in Sepang. Not the dragon that spits fire or flies in the air, but the Red Dragon Fruit (Pitaya). ūüôā

On the way from Sepang to Port Dickson or to Tanjung Sepat. There were plenty of dragon fruit stalls along the roadside near Pekan Sepang. Many passerby loves to stop over and buy few kilos of the fresh fruit.

The flesh is either red or white, like giant kiwi fruit (without the hair, and grow on cactus tree).

The fun part was the visit to some of these farms were free admission.

The farm that we visited has passion fruit too.

The nice owner gave me free sample freshly plucked from the plant. It tasted excellently good (and fresh).

There were plenty of fruit stalls along the roadside selling seasonal fruits like durian, rambutan etc. We stopped over had ‘re-fuel’ with a D24, superb!
