To follow up on my ‘pet’: it had turned into brownish cocoon yesterday.
I love Olympus TTL flash and color, these pictures were just point and shoot in JPEG, no need post processing. A closer look (100% crop), the flash illuminate the cocoon’s texture. I think I saw the small ‘holes’ that looked like ventilation or breathing holes. The details were lovely. I am a curious hobbyist, please verify the facts with any qualified biologist. 🙂
The cocoon was beautiful but sadly it had turned into hatching ground for wasp. So I won’t be able to see this caterpillar turns into butterfly.
