Holi Festival 2012 (Part 6)
What was my impression of Holi Festival in Kuala Lumpur?
It was love and blessing.
Just looked that all these faces. They expressed something from within.
I did not know any of them, but there was no barrier between us.
No one gotten angry because some strangers messed up their hairs or clothing.
There was no comparison (who was uglier in coloured face).
No one asked you what you do for a living.
They just loved to be part of this event at the particular moment. To be happy.
Tourism Malaysia had organized many multi-millions dollars events, but I have never seen so many happy faces in one place. And the Holi Festival was solely organized by a temple and local community.
I truly appreciate what Shree Lakshmi Narayan Temple has done to open this event to outside the community.
The event brought great experience and wonderful memory to many.
I wish the event will grow in its popularity and provide wider positive experiences to those to step out from their comfort zone, get ‘dirty’ and receive more ‘colourful’ life. It was a fantastic ‘present moment’ for me.
