Tens of thousands of people voiced out 2 loud messages today at Kuala Lumpur.
(1) People demand a clean election
(2) People do not want radioactive waste for our future generation.
So many people come together to hold a peace gathering near Dataran Merdeka.
The crowd grouped at 6 different sites and marched to the Merdeka Square by 1:30pm. We visited the gathering at Central Market, Petaling Street and Masjid Jamek.
It started with friendly and carnival like atmosphere. The Malay and Chinese supporters pulled in a volunteer Indian passer-by to complete the Malaysian ‘muhibah’ identity. We are proud of the harmonious mixed races in Malaysia.
Many participants enjoyed it like a carnival party, posing in front of the guards and supporters.
One thing in common in today’s event is that the people have something to voice out.
More posts for today’s Bersih 3.0 rally, coming soon.
