Chinese New Year Flora
Flora is one of the popular Chinese New Year decoration.
On our way from Ipoh to Kuala Lumpur, we stopped by Sungai Buloh, the famous flora back garden of the city.
80% of the flower shops are closed, and more should be opening for business tomorrow.
You could see more flora before Chinese New Year.
I saw mostly plastic flowers and some cactuses wearing colourful hats.
There were not many decorative mandarins or cherry blossoms. I think the best plant could be orchid because the flowers could blossom for weeks.
Personally, I prefer flower and plant as is, without any man-made decoration. There is lots of thing we human can learn from flora, for one, just be ourselves. Flower is simply, flower.
Simplicity is insanely beautiful.
