I am very impressed with this year flora and light decoration at FGS Dong Zen.
All the decorations were created by volunteers and funded by donors.
The end result is more impressive than the Lantern Festival organized by government and iCity LED trees.
If you are in Klang Valley and nothing to do during this long holiday, then it is worth while to visit Dong Zen at Jenjarom, Banting.
I am sure that elders and kids will enjoy the flora and lights.
Lovers no need to travel to Tanjung Sepat. There is a lovers bridge (情人桥) at Dong Zen.
Many tourists love to visit Tien Hou Gong for the lanterns and zodiac statue. I would say that the lantern zodiac statues in Dong Zen are more attractive.
It is so colourful and delighting.
Of course, the leading role in 2014 is horse.
The theme of flying horse is everywhere.
since FGS Dong Zen is a monastery, statue of monks and Buddha are also the key decorative figures.
The best time to visit FGS Dong Zen Monastery is about 5:30pm before the crowd swamp the monastery after dark.
The entire town will be congested with traffic.
It is closed to impossible not capturing the crowd, arms and legs into your photo with such a big crowd.
I never see so many people in FGS Dong Zen.
I would recommend you to visit the monastery before end of Chinese New Year.
You can try out the vegetarian food stalls, visit the book fair, tour the art gallery, listen to concert performance, tour the underwater palace etc. All for free, no entrance fee, no parking fee.
The objective of the monastery is to share the teaching of Buddha. FGS Dong Zen Monastery has a 3 GOODs slogan that adore by many.
Indeed, the world could be a better place if everyone practice:
Do Good Deeds; Speak Good Words; and Think Good Thought.
