New name and new venue for Putrajaya floral festival 2015.
New admission fees of RM5 for Malaysian, and higher rate for foreigner. In return, visitors will be rewarded with 500,000 flora (100 species) and opportunity to exercise leg muscle.
The weather is so hot that both the visitors and the flora are dehydrated.
I wish the organizer could consider opening the festival at 8am instead of 10am.
By the time visitor walked for 30 minutes, it is too hot to admire flora and deco under the direct sun.
I saw the long queue to the winter season exhibition hall, decided to skip any exhibition under bitter sun burn.
Please bear with me that this post only cover a short tour, and there are more exhibits that I like to visit if the weather is more bearable.
If there is any display of corn, they could ended up as pop corns under the extreme heat.
For any friends who plan to visit, I would suggest that you visit early in the morning. Then go straight to the winter season hall to avoid long queue later under the sun. Next good move will be covering the large exhibitions in the open space, and finally visit those halls with air conditioning. Have fun viewing the flora and not visiting doctor.
