George Town and Air Itam

Here were some quick snapshots while bringing friends for a quick visit to George Town. The memorable part was getting to listen to the impromptu jamming session, East meeting West.

George Town (4)

We started our day at Chowrasta Market.

Penang Durian

There are few famous durian eating places in Malaysia. Balik Pulau (Penang) is one of the farming area to taste the local variety. The signature durian from Penang would be Red Prawn.

Could you see the durian is smiling at me? The soft flesh is sticky and the bitterness would elevate durian lovers to cloud nine.

Creepy Crawlies

Bring friends to nearby town this weekend, and took a few shots on flora and fauna.

Malaysian bugs (6)

I discovered this master of disguise – the stick insect on Gunung Brinchang (6,666 feet above sea level).

Malaysian bugs (3)

The little snail was hiding behind a leaf at the organic farm @ Brinchang, Cameron Highland.

Street Views in Georgetown (part 2)

After the morning visit to Chowrasta Market, we walked towards Jalan Kapitan area (the ultimate goal was looking for food, photography was the by-product).

Street Views in Georgetown

I noticed that Penang has many British influenced street names. The street scene for street photography is also equally interesting.

Snake Temple @ Bayan Lepas

The snake temple is one of its kind temple in Malaysia.

Penang Street Food

The best way to try Malaysian street food is of course, eat on the street.
