Hari Kraf Kebangsaan (HKK) or National Craft Day is an annual event hosted by Kompleks Kraf (Craft Complex) Kuala Lumpur.
It was a good event for tourists to witness and even to participate in the Malaysian crafts.
Craftsmen from all over Malaysia have been invited to the event to showcase their works. The picture above is the making of shadow puppet (Wayang Kulit) from cowhide.
If you ask me or any Malaysian what is HKK, most of us may not know the answer. Some may thought it meant Hong Kong Kaki.
Hari Kraf Kebangsaan (HKK) is mostly visited by Malay. I saw very small percentage of the visitors who are tourists or other races. This was just a personal observation on a particular day, so it may not be a fair comment on the overall turn out.
Personally, I think HKK is a colour event that Malaysian and tourists should pay a visit.
